Keeping tech skills up to date is a horrendous task and consumes both Time AND Money!! Especially when you've spec'd H/W and bought a training kit only for the vendor to upgrade the product, when you have spent 2 months at night , training on a new subject. Now you may have to get new hardware because the kit you just bought is now obsolete as well as the training kit...INFURIATING...but it's another avenue for Cisco,Microsoft, VMWare et al to steal your money and suck your very life force and spirit dry!!
Anyway been given some good advice by some lads I'm working with just now....get the videos and read the books then write down your questions and take them to a course you are going to do.....now where does your training begin? I'm going to go VMWare as it's a cheaper course, but it gets me started!! Lets get saving that casholla!!!
