Strange things can happen to a mailbox’s CALENDAR folder if NT Authority\Anonymous Logon is missing.
The way to check this is connect to mailboxes with PFDAVAdmin and select the problem mailbox, right click the mailbox and check the DACLs and click yes to select check for all subfolders
A window appears with the results….
if the CALENDAR or any other subfolder says ANONYMOUS MISSING, check the parent folder has NT Authority\Anonymous Logon in the folder permissions and PROPOGATE this to the subfolders.
This should put NT Authority\Anonymous Logon back on the CALENDAR.
From the client end, the customer may have to run some outlook switches like
Start button the desktop select RUN
type
Outlook /cleanfreebusy
outlook /cleanprofile
outlook /cleanreminders
and in some cases the outlook profile may need recreated.
Anyway here is a link to all the outlook switches that can be used…..and a good article on pfdavadmin
